Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 450 g minced beef or lamb
  • 1 large onion (s), finely diced
  • 50 g mushrooms
  • 2 carrot (s), thinly sliced
  • 1 bay leaves
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 200 ml stock (herbal bouillon)
  • 700 g potato (s), peeled and cut into pieces
  • 25 g butter
  • 50 g cheese, rated
  • milk

Instructions

  1. First fry the minced meat, onions, mushrooms, carrots and bay leaf in hot oil for approx. 8-10 minutes. Add the flour and tomato puree and roast for approx. 2 minutes. Pour in the bouillon and bring everything to a boil. Cover and let cook lightly for approx. 25 minutes.
  2. In the meantime, cook the potatoes and prepare a mashed potatoes with butter, milk and salt.
  3. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C top / bottom heat.
  4. Remove the bay leaf and season the meat with salt and pepper. Put the meat and vegetable mixture in a prepared casserole dish (content approx. 1.7 liters) and cover with the mashed potatoes. Sprinkle with cheese.
  5. Bake in the hot oven for approx. 15-20 minutes.
  6. Delicious with a green salad.
