Wash, peel and quarter the potatoes. Put enough water in a saucepan to cover the bottom about 2 cm high. Salt and bring to a boil. Then put the potatoes in and put the lid on.
After cooking for 10 minutes, place the broccoli (wash, clean and cut into small pieces) on top of the potatoes and cook for another 10 minutes. Stir in between.
