Kulesh with Meat

Ingredients

  • Millet – 100 g
  • Water – 1 l
  • Onions – 30 g
  • Beef – 150 g
  • Pork lard (lard) – 10 g

Directions

  1. The products for the recipe are in front of you.
  2. The meat is washed and cut into large pieces. The prepared meat is placed in a cauldron. The meat is poured with water and put on fire.
  3. Bring to a boil, removing foam and fat. The meat is cooked until tender over low heat (60-90 minutes).
  4. Then the meat is taken out.
  5. The millet is sorted out and washed.
  6. Sorted and washed millet and salt are added to the broth.
  7. Cooking is continued (about 20 minutes).
  8. The onions are peeled, washed, and chopped finely.
  9. Preheat the pan, add lard. Onions are added to the lard. Fry over medium heat until golden brown, stirring for 2-3 minutes.
  10. 10-15 minutes before the end of cooking, put onion chopped and fried in bacon and boiled meat, cut into pieces (or the meat can be laid out directly on plates).
  11. Cook the kulesh for another 10-15 minutes. Kulesh with meat is ready.
