Lavash “Cheese Sticks” Snack

Such lavash cheese sticks disappear too quickly from the table. The most important thing is not to cook them too often because children will constantly ask them to cook them. To be honest, it’s not just children. I like them very much.

Ingredients

  • Thin lavash – 1 sheet
  • Cheese (whichever you like) – 150 g
  • Garlic – 0.5-1 clove
  • Fresh greens, chopped – 1-2 tbsp
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil – for frying

Directions

  1. Grate the cheese. Squeeze the garlic into it.
  2. Add chopped herbs and mix everything.
  3. Cut the lavash lengthwise into strips approximately 15 cm wide.
  4. Put a strip of cheese filling on the pita bread, 1 cm before the edges, and wrap the pita bread with the filling in a tube.
  5. Wrap the filling twice.
  6. Put the pita bread rolls with cheese on a plate with the seam down.
  7. Dip each tube in an egg and roll in breadcrumbs.
  8. Fry pita bread rolls with cheese on both sides until golden brown.
  9. Put prepared cheese sticks on a paper towel.
  10. Bon Appetit!
