Ingredients

  • 2 avocado (s), peeled, pitted and cut into cubes
  • 6 clove (s) garlic
  • 80 ml virgin olive oil
  • 1 ½ tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons mustard, (Dijon mustard)
  • Salt and pepper, black from the mill
  • 250 g bacon, streaky, smoked without rind
  • 100 g lettuce
  • 1 small onion (s), red, peeled, halved lengthways and sliced
  • 450 g tomato (s), firm ripe tomatoes, cut into 1.5 cm cubes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °. Put the garlic on a baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes. Allow to cool, then press out the pulp and finely mash it in a small bowl. Add olive oil, balsamic vinegar and Dijon mustard and stir everything thoroughly. Season to taste with salt and black pepper from the mill.
  2. Cut the bacon into bite-sized pieces and grill or fry fat-free for 3 - 5 minutes.
  3. Put the lettuce leaves in a bowl and add the bacon, onions, avocados and tomatoes. Thoroughly stir the salad dressing again, add to the salad and mix everything carefully.
