- 6 lemon (s) (organic)
- 250 grams sugar
- 1 bottle vodka (700 ml)

- Rinse the lemons under hot water and dry them.
- Then just peel off the yellow of the lemon peel with a peeler, making sure that none of the white remains on the peel, otherwise the liqueur will later become bitter. Squeeze the lemon juice and set aside.
- Slowly boil 200 ml water in a saucepan with the lemon zest and the sugar until the sugar has dissolved. Reduce the temperature and simmer for 15 minutes. Pour in the lemon juice and let the syrup simmer for another 5 minutes. Take the pot off the stove and let the drink cool down.
- Pour the vodka into a sterile mason jar and pour in the lemon syrup and lemon zest. Close the jar tightly and shake vigorously. Let the lemon vodka steep in a dark, cool place for 7-10 days, shaking it vigorously once a day
- After the steeping time, pour the liqueur through a sieve and fill into bottles. It results in 2 bottles of 0.75 l each.
- The syrup may separate from the vodka over time, but this is normal. Just shake it vigorously and it will mix again.
