Ingredients

  • 300 grams flour
  • 1 pinch (s) baking powder
  • 50 g walnuts, finely chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ cinnamon
  • 150 g powdered suar
  • 100 g maple syrup
  • 200 g butter or mararine
  • 200 g walnuts, halved (for arnish)

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour with the baking powder, add the remaining ingredients and knead everything into a firm dough.
  2. Wrapped in foil, leave to rest in the refrigerator overnight.
  3. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface 0.5 cm thick, cut out small hearts, rosettes or whatever.
  4. Place the cookies on baking sheets lined with baking paper. Garnish each with a walnut half. Possibly chill briefly. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° C top / bottom heat or 160 ° C fan oven for 12 - 15 minutes.
  5. The amount of dough makes about 110-130 pieces.
