Ingredients
- 3 large onion (s), red
- 200 ml port wine
- 100 ml soy sauce
- 60 ml olive oil
- 25 ml balsamic vinegar, dark
- 2 tablespoon sugar, brown
- some pepper

- Peel the onions and cut into thin slices. Mix the remaining ingredients together well and leave the onions and garlic to marinate for a good two hours. Then put the entire mixture in a pan and reduce over medium heat until a syrupy consistency is achieved.
- Is perfect for hamburgers. Sauces are then actually no longer necessary. Can also be wonderfully produced in larger quantities and frozen in advance.
