Mackerel Marinated with Tomatoes, Onions and Soy Sauce

Marinating mackerel in 2 hours is easy! And besides, not just marinate in brine, but in a very tasty marinade with tomatoes, onions, garlic, dill and soy sauce. The fish turns out to be awesomely tasty! With a young potato – just fire!

Servings: 3

Ingredients

  • Mackerel – 600 g (1 pc.)
  • Tomato – 160 g (1 pc.)
  • Onions – 50 g (1 pc.)
  • Garlic – 1 clove (large)
  • Fresh dill – a few branches
  • Soy sauce – 3 tbsp
  • Apple cider vinegar – 1 tbsp
  • Sunflower oil – 2 tbsp
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon without a slide
  • Ground black pepper – 0.25 teaspoon

Directions

  1. Prepare the required ingredients.
  2. Peel the onion and cut into thin feathers.
  3. Peel the garlic clove and cut into thin slices.
  4. Wash the tomato, remove the stalk and cut the tomato into slices.
  5. Rinse the dill, dry it, chop it coarsely.
  6. Combine tomato, onion, garlic and dill in a bowl.
  7. Pour in soy sauce, sunflower oil, apple cider vinegar, salt and black pepper.
  8. Mix the ingredients of the marinade with your hand, remember them slightly so that the onion and tomato let the juice flow.
  9. Defrost the mackerel carcass, remove the entrails, head and fins. Rinse the fish and pat dry with a paper towel, both outside and inside.
  10. Cut the mackerel into pieces.
  11. Place the chopped mackerel in the cooked marinade.
  12. Stir. Tighten the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours. During this time, remove the fish a couple of times and mix.
  13. After 2 hours, delicious pickled mackerel will be ready.
