Ingredients

  • 2 bottles vodka or grain (0.7 l each, at least 38%)
  • 500 g cane suar, brown
  • 2 sprigs rosemary
  • 2 sprigs basil, green or red
  • 2 sprigs oregano, green or yellow
  • 2 sprigs sage, green or red
  • 2 sprigs wormwood herb
  • 1 handful thyme (short stems)
  • 1 piece (s) lemon peel, untreated

Instructions

  1. Put the cane sugar in a 2 liter glass. Use the whole sprigs of rosemary, remove the leaves of all other herbs from the stalks, pluck and layer them in the glass with the washed lemon zest.
  2. Pour in vodka or grain, close, shake well and let steep for at least 14 days. Then peel off in bottles and let stand for another 14 days - if you can
  3. I have several varieties of basil, sage, thyme and oregano in the garden, which is why I also like to mix the herbal combinations. Except for the thyme, because it naturally grows low, it should be larger in quantity, otherwise take a little more.
  4. The wormwood gives the liqueur a wonderful aroma and the brown cane sugar gives it a nice color.
  5. I`ve already tried the liqueur with dried herbs, it also tasted great, but if you have a herb garden, you should definitely try the fresh version.
