Ingredients

  • 125 g herrin fillet (s)
  • 1 medium onion (s)
  • 3 teaspoons mustard, medium hot
  • 2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar bianco
  • 1 tablespoon dill tips, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoon sour cream, alternatively creme fraîche
  • 2 tablespoon jam, cranberry
  • 2 pretzel stick (s)

Instructions

  1. Rinse the matjes with cold water, pat dry. Cut the fillets crosswise into strips approx. 1 cm thick.
  2. Peel and finely dice the onion. Wash the dill, spin dry and cut finely.
  3. Mix the mustard with the balsamic vinegar and the dill. Fold in the matjes strips.
  4. Mix the sour cream with the cranberry jam.
  5. Cut the pretzel sticks diagonally into thick slices. Spread the herring on top and decorate with a dollop of cranberry sauce.
