Ingredients

  • 250 g cranberries, fresh
  • 225 ml syrup (maple syrup)
  • 225 ml water
  • 0.25 teaspoon ¼ allspice, ground or blackberry bushes

Instructions

  1. Put the berries, maple syrup and water in a saucepan. Bring everything to a boil at medium to high temperature and then simmer at medium to low temperature for about 15 minutes, stirring frequently, until the berries have burst and you get a creamy sauce. Season with allspice. Serve the sauce at room temperature.
  2. It is best prepared a few hours in advance so that the flavors can blend together well.
