- 3 tablespoon oil
- 2 teaspoons maple syrup
- 275 ml buttermilk
- 250 g flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- possibly oil for the waffle iron
- Maple syrup for brushing

- For the waffles, mix the eggs with the salt, oil, maple syrup and buttermilk.
- Mix the flour with the baking powder, sieve and stir into the egg mixture in portions.
- Heat up the waffle iron and grease it if necessary. Bake golden yellow waffles and place on a wire rack.
- Then serve the hot waffles with the maple syrup.
