Meat Baked with Mushrooms and Potatoes in a Pot

Meat baked with mushrooms and potatoes will become an appetizing decoration of a festive table or a hearty home meal. This delicious juicy dish will delight you with the perfect combination of potatoes, tender pork and ruddy mushrooms. Be sure to cook it – you will definitely be satisfied!

Ingredients

  • Pork (pulp) – 600-700 g
  • Potatoes – 1.3 kg
  • Champignons – 600 g
  • Hard cheese – 100-150 g
  • Bulb onions – 2 pcs.
  • Carrots – 2 pcs.
  • Vegetable oil – 70-100 ml
  • Butter – 20-30 g
  • Mayonnaise – 40 g
  • Garlic – 5 cloves
  • Parsley – 2-3 sprigs
  • Dill greens – 2-3 branches
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Water – 300 ml

Directions

  1. Rinse the meat thoroughly, dry it with a paper towel and cut it into arbitrary pieces (about 3×4 cm). In a frying pan in a small amount of vegetable oil, fry the meat until golden brown. We transfer the fried meat to another dish.
  2. Rinse the champignons and cut into slices. Fry the mushrooms in the pan in which the meat was fried until all the liquid has evaporated. We also transfer the mushrooms to another dish.
  3. We clean all the vegetables. Rub the carrots on a coarse grater. Cut the onion into quarters, pour the oil in a frying pan and fry the onion and carrot in it until soft. We transfer to another dish.
  4. Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and fry the onions and carrots in it until soft. We transfer to another dish.
  5. Cut the potatoes into strips. In a frying pan in a small amount of vegetable oil, fry the potatoes in portions until half cooked.
  6. Finely chop the garlic. Grind the greens. We turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees. Put the meat on the bottom of the pot. Salt and pepper.
  7. Then we put a layer of fried onions with carrots. Sprinkle with chopped garlic. We spread the potatoes, salt and pepper. Sprinkle with herbs. We spread the mushrooms and salt. Put butter on the mushrooms. Pour in 300 ml of warm water.
  8. Grease the mushrooms with mayonnaise. Rub the cheese on a coarse grater, put it on the mushrooms. Cover the pot with a lid and put it in the oven for 1 hour. Let the finished dish brew for 10 minutes. Stir the contents of the pot before serving.
  9. The meat baked with mushrooms and potatoes is ready. Sprinkle the dish with fresh, finely chopped herbs if desired.
