Meat Rolls with Orange

An original dish that will be appreciated by lovers of meat and fruits. Wrap the broken pieces of pork with orange slices in a roll, dip in an egg, bread in breadcrumbs, and then fry. The dish turns out to be interesting and tasty and will decorate any holiday. But preparing such a dish is quite simple, so there is no need to wait for the holiday – you can even make rolls for dinner.

Cook: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Pork (loin, tenderloin) – 500 g
  • Orange – 75 g (0.5 pcs.)
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Bread crumbs – 2 tbsp
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon (to taste)
  • Ground black pepper – 0.5 teaspoon (to taste)
  • Olive oil for frying – 40 ml

Directions

  1. Let’s prepare the ingredients. Pork loin or tenderloin is best for cooking.
  2. Cut the pork into layers about 1 cm thick. From the amount of meat specified in the recipe, I got 5 layers.
  3. We will beat off layers of meat from both sides.
  4. Season with salt and pepper (you can use other seasonings to your liking).
  5. Peel the orange and cut into small pieces. (When peeled, I got 50 g of orange.)
  6. Put orange slices on the edge of the beaten meat layer.
  7. Wrap the stuffed meat tightly in a roll. In a similar way, we form rolls from the remaining meat and orange.
  8. In a deep bowl, beat the egg with a whisk. Dip each meatloaf in an egg.
  9. Then we bread the rolls in breadcrumbs.
  10. Heat the oil in a frying pan and add the rolls. Fry the rolls over low heat from all sides until golden brown, about 15 minutes.
  11. Ready-made meat rolls with orange can be served whole or cut into pieces.
