Meat with Vegetables (in the Oven)

Delicious, juicy meat, baked under a fur coat of vegetables and mushrooms. Sprinkled with cheese and herbs on top.

Ingredients

  • Pork (neck) – 700 g
  • Potatoes – 1 kg
  • Zucchini (large) – 1 pc.
  • Tomatoes – 2 pcs.
  • Mushrooms (champignons) – 150 g
  • Cheese – 100 g
  • Mayonnaise – 2 tbsp
  • Sunflower oil – 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Fresh greens (dill, green onions) – 1 bunch

Directions

  1. Rinse the pork neck, dry with a towel. Cut into slices about 0.5 cm, beat lightly. Grease a baking dish with sunflower oil. Put the meat, salt and pepper on all sides.
  2. Top with chopped onion rings.
  3. Rinse and dry the vegetable marrow. Cut it into circles.
  4. Rinse the mushrooms under running water, remove the top film. Cut into two or more pieces. Add to form.
  5. Cut the washed and peeled potatoes into slices – the thinner the better. Add to form. Grease with mayonnaise on top. Add the tomatoes, cut into rings. Send to an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Bake meat with vegetables in the oven until tender. 5 minutes before the end, sprinkle the meat with vegetables in the oven with grated cheese on a coarse grater.
  6. The meat with vegetables in the oven is ready. Cut the finished dish in portions, sprinkle with fragrant fresh herbs on top.
