“Merchant” Salad with Pork

Well, a very tasty salad with boiled meat, vegetables and mayonnaise. Hearty and somehow special. And for dinner you can serve, and for the festive table. Ingredients

  • Pork – 200-300 g
  • Carrots – 2 pcs.
  • Bulb onions – 1 pc.
  • Sugar – 1 tbsp
  • Vinegar – 1 tbsp
  • Canned green peas – 200 g
  • Mayonnaise – 2-3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil (for frying) – 4 tbsp

Directions

  1. Products for the Kupecheskiy salad with pork are in front of you.
  2. Wash the lean pork meat, add water. Boil. Cook over low heat, covered, until tender (about 60 minutes). Take out the meat and cool.
  3. Peel, wash and grate the carrots.
  4. Peel the onion, wash and cut into cubes.
  5. Preheat a frying pan, pour in vegetable oil. Lay out the carrots. Fry the carrots until soft over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat. Refrigerate.
  6. Marinate the onion: salt the onion, add sugar, pour over with vinegar. Mix well, mash with your hands and leave to marinate for 10 minutes.
  7. Cut the cooled meat into cubes.
  8. Open a jar of canned green peas. Drain the liquid.
  9. Put all the ingredients in a bowl.
  10. Season with salt, pepper, add mayonnaise.
  11. Mix the salad well. “Merchant” salad with pork is ready.
  12. Serve the Kupecheskiy salad with pork to the table.
