Minced Chicken and Millet Meat Pie

This cake will appeal to both food lovers and healthy food lovers. Indeed, it contains chicken breast and millet. Prepare, you will not regret it.

Ingredients

  • Millet – 80 g
  • Chicken fillet – 350 g
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Cream 22% – 3 tbsp
  • Onions – 80 g
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Canned peas – 3 tbsp
  • Cherry tomatoes – 100 g
  • Sugar – 3 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Starch – 1 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
  • Water – 4 tbsp

Directions

  1. Sort the millet and pour boiling water over it. Leave it on for 20 minutes. This is necessary so that the bitterness leaves the cereal. Then drain the water and rinse the millet to clean water.
  2. Pour 200 ml of water into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Season with salt and millet. Close the lid and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes, until the millet is tender. The water should completely evaporate.
  3. Peel the onion, garlic, and chop finely. Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and add garlic and onions. Fry over medium heat for 3 minutes. Remove and cool. Pass the chicken breast through a fine mesh meat grinder.
  4. Add millet to the minced chicken and stir. Add the peas. Break the egg into minced meat.
  5. Pour in the cream. Add the sautéed onions and garlic. Season with salt, pepper, and stir.
  6. Lubricate the form with oil and transfer the finished mass into it, smooth. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  7. Bake the pie in a hot oven for 30 minutes, until golden brown.
  8. Pour 3 tablespoons of water into a small skillet. Add sugar and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat and smooth.
  9. Place the tomatoes in a skillet and cook over medium heat for 3 minutes, stirring gently.
  10. Add one tablespoon of water to a container with starch and stir. Pour the liquid into the skillet. Bring to a boil and cook the tomatoes for another 1-2 minutes, turning over. Cherry should be covered with liquid.
  11. Spread the cherry on top of the pie immediately. You can decorate with greens if you wish. Cut into pieces and serve hot or cold.
