There are only three main ingredients – puff pastry, suluguni and tomatoes – and in 20 minutes you have great mini-pies, or rather, open pies – kishi. The taste of this pie is similar to the taste of the famous Margarita pizza. Such a quiche can be prepared for a snack for both children and adults, it is convenient to take it with you to work or outdoors, or to decorate a buffet table with it.
Servings: 12
Cook: 40 minutes
Ingredients
Yeast puff pastry – 500 g
Suluguni cheese – 200 g
Tomatoes – 300 g (3 pcs.)
Olive oil – 1 tbsp
Dried oregano – 1 teaspoon
Salt – 2-3 pinches (to taste)
Directions
Prepare all ingredients. Any puff pastry is suitable for this dish – both yeast and yeast-free. The dough must be removed from the freezer half an hour before cooking. I used a 12-well muffin pan to bake the mini pies.
Roll out the dough lightly into a rectangular layer 3-4 mm thick. Cut the dough into 8-9 cm squares, approximately the size of the mold cells (with a slight allowance). Turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees.
Line each cell of the mold with dough, lightly pressing down in the center and forming a depression. There is no need to grease the mold, as the puff pastry already contains oil and the quiches will not stick.
Rinse the tomatoes, dry and free from the stalks. Cut the tomatoes into small pieces.
Place 3-4 tomato slices in each dough hole.
Season the tomatoes lightly, add a pinch of oregano and a few drops of olive oil to each cell.
Bake quiches with tomatoes and spices in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20 minutes, until golden brown. Then remove the mold from the oven.
Cut the suluguni into small cubes.
Place a few suluguni cubes in the center of each mini pie and return to the oven.
Bake the quiches for another 5-8 minutes at 180 degrees until the cheese is completely melted.
The edges of the pies became appetizing, ruddy, the cheese completely melted and covered the juicy, juicy tomatoes.
Mini-kishi “Margarita” are ready. Remove each mini pie from the tin and cool on a wooden surface.
Transfer the tarts to a serving platter and serve.
Appetizing, crunchy puff pastry and juicy filling of tomatoes and stretching soft cheese – the perfect pastry!
Be sure to prepare such mini-pies, because it is delicious, simple and affordable! Bon Appetit!
