Instructions

  1. Marinade:
  2. Mix the oil with the herbs, salt, pepper and lemon juice.
  3. Clean, salt and pepper the fish. Place 1 slice of bacon and 1 piece of herb butter for each fish in the abdomen before tying the fish well with kitchen twine.
  4. The herb butter can also be rubbed into the abdomen so that its aroma can be absorbed even better during the marinating time.
  5. Put the fish in the marinade for two days and then grill them in aluminum foil (or cook them in the oven).
  6. If you like, you can also put one or two sprigs of rosemary in the abdomen.
  7. This very simple food tastes very good with herb baguette or salad or fried or boiled potatoes.
