Monastic-Style Potato Casserole

Mushrooms and potatoes are brothers forever! Lean potato casserole with mushrooms always turns out to be very tasty and satisfying.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes – 4-5 pcs. (0.5 kg)
  • Mushrooms – 300 g
  • Olive oil – 3 tbsp
  • Bread crumbs – 3-5 tbsp
  • Salt – 1-1.5 teaspoon

Directions

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut into thin slices 3-4 mm thick. Wash the mushrooms, cut into 0.5 cm thick slices. Add 0.25 teaspoons of the salt, mix.
  2. Lay on the foil. Spread garlic on it. Put potato slices in 2-3 layers on the foil.
  3. Then put the mushroom slices in 1-2 layers. Drizzle 0.5 tablespoon. tablespoons of olive oil.
  4. Now put the potatoes again in 2-3 layers. lay the last layer curly. Sprinkle with salt (1 pinch). Drizzle 0.5 tablespoon. tablespoons of olive oil. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs (1-2 tablespoons)
  5. Turn on the oven. Form a baking dish out of foil so that the top of the casserole is open. From this amount of products, 3 portioned potato casseroles or one large one are obtained.
  6. Bake potato casserole with mushrooms in the oven at 190 degrees until the potatoes are soft (40 minutes).
