Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 280 g flour
  • 2 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 0.5 ½ pack baking powder
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 100 g suar
  • 3 tablespoon nut nougat cream
  • 80 ml vegetable oil, neutral
  • 300 ml buttermilk

Also:

  • 10 sweets, (Mozart balls)
  • Chocolate glaze, or marzipan glaze
  • pistachios

Instructions

  1. Process all ingredients into a muffin batter. Don`t stir too long. Roughly chop the Mozart balls and carefully fold them into the dough. Now put everything into the muffin tins and bake at 180 degrees for about 25 minutes. Make a chopstick test.
  2. After cooling, you can decorate them as you like. I first applied whole milk and then marzipan glaze to achieve a marble effect. But chopped pistachios are also possible.
  3. I`ve also baked muffins and put a whole Mozartkugel in the middle, personally, it doesn`t taste as good to me as the variant described above.
