  • 50 g nuts, chopped and mixed or just one type, dependin on your taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C top and bottom heat. Mix the flour with the oatmeal, cinnamon, a pinch of salt and baking powder in a bowl. If you like, you can add other spices such as For example, add ground vanilla pods, turmeric or ground ginger, there are no limits to your imagination.
  2. Mix the peeled and chopped bananas, the apple sauce or the grated apple and the egg in a blender. Alternatively without a mixer: Mash the banana well with a fork and stir in the remaining ingredients. Pour the banana mixture into the flour mixture and stir with a whisk. Then fold in the chopped nuts.
  3. Put the dough in a loaf pan, sprinkle with oat flakes and / or nut pieces as desired and bake for about 35 minutes.
  4. Remove the banana bread from the mold when it is lukewarm.
  5. I created this banana bread by trying different compositions - it is very easy and quick to bake. Important: The bananas should really be very ripe. I like to use wholemeal spelled flour and type 630 mixed, depending on what is currently available.
