New Year’s Sandwich “Mister Rat” with Chicken and Cheese

New Year’s sandwich “Mister Rats” is already ready for 2020. An appetizing, tasty and very elegant sandwich in the shape of a cute rat gentleman will surely attract the attention of everyone at the table. If you want to be fully prepared for the New Year holidays, be sure to save this simple recipe.

Ingredients

  • Toast bread – 1 slice
  • Hard cheese – 20 g
  • Smoked chicken breast – 20 g
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Mayonnaise – 1 teaspoon
    *
  • For decoration:
  • Hard cheese – 1 thin slice
  • Fresh tomato – 1/3 pc.
  • Black peppercorns – 2 pcs.
  • Carrots – 1 thin strip
  • Green onion – 1-2 feathers
  • Cranberries – 1 berry
  • Pitted olive – 1 pc.

Directions

  1. We prepare products.
  2. Fill the egg with water and boil it hard (10 minutes after boiling). Cool in cold water.
  3. Rub the cheese (except for one thin slice) on a fine grater.
  4. Rub the smoked chicken on a fine grater.
  5. We combine cheese, chicken and mayonnaise. We mix.
  6. Spread the resulting mass evenly on a slice of bread.
  7. Peel the egg and separate the white from the yolk (we don’t need the yolk).
  8. On a fine grater, rub the protein onto the sandwich over the filling.
  9. Cut a wide triangle out of a thin slice of cheese. In the scraps of cheese, using a straw, we make large holes (we will need these pieces for serving). Cut off two circles from the tomato. Cut the green onion feather into strips. Cut out a bow tie from the olive. Prepare a thin strip of carrots, peppercorns and cranberries.
  10. We form a sandwich. We make the Rat’s muzzle from a triangular piece of cheese, on which we spread the eyes made of peppercorns, a cranberry nose and antennae from strips of green onions. Put tomato mugs in the upper corners of the sandwich – you get ears. We make a tail from a strip of carrots. Put an olive butterfly on the bottom of the sandwich. Put slices of cheese with holes next to the sandwich. Sandwich “Mister Rats” is ready to delight guests at the festive table for the New Year 2020
