Ingredients

  • 2 large potatoes
  • 2 carrot (s)
  • 2 small onions
  • 2 large egg (s)
  • 100 g bulur, fine
  • 400 ml water
  • 100 g olives, reen
  • 100 g olives, black
  • 100 g feta cheese
  • 1 teaspoon oregano, dried
  • 1 teaspoon basil, dried
  • pepper
  • salt
  • olive oil

Instructions

  1. First dice the onions very finely and sauté in a saucepan with olive oil for about 3 minutes. Add the bulgur and toast briefly. Then mix with a pinch of salt, oregano and basil and deglaze with 400 ml of water. Turn off the hotplate and let the residual heat swell for 10 minutes. Set aside and let cool.
  2. Finely chop the olives and feta, finely grate the carrots and potatoes. Mix with the eggs in a bowl and season with pepper (the feta does not require any additional salt). Mix in the cooled bulgur.
  3. Bake small patties in a pan with plenty of olive oil. Turn several times. The easiest way to shape the mass is with two tablespoons. Give in the olive oil more often and don`t fry too hot, a little more than medium heat.
  4. Makes about 45 pieces
