Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 500g flour
  • 200 g butter
  • 7 ½ g salt
  • 175 ml water

For covering:

  • 75 g butter
  • 500 g onion (s), cut into rins or cubes
  • 175 g ham, cut into strips or cubes

For the cast:

  • 500 ml milk
  • 200 ml cream
  • 130 g flour
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • 300 g cheese, rated

Instructions

  1. Dough:
  2. Knead the flour, butter, salt and water into a dough and press up to the edge in a springform pan.
  3. Covering:
  4. Steam the onions in the butter until translucent. Add the ham and distribute the mixture evenly in the pan.
  5. Molding:
  6. Mix the milk, cream and flour in a bowl and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg, pour over the onion mixture and sprinkle with the cheese.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 220 ° C for about 45 minutes.
  8. Double the quantities for a tray.
