Open Curd Pie with Cauliflower, Broccoli, Sausages and Cheese

The base of the curd dough pie is filled with smoked sausages and cheese in an egg-sour cream filling, and on top is a layer of cauliflower and broccoli inflorescences lined with checkers. Such an elegant and tasty cake is simply bound to please you!

Ingredients

For the dough:

  • Butter – 50 g
  • Cottage cheese – 50 g
  • Flour – 85 g
  • Baking powder – 3 g (1/3 teaspoon)
  • Sugar – 0.5 tbsp
  • Salt – 1 pinch

For filling:

  • Cauliflower – 200 g
  • Broccoli cabbage – 200 g
  • Smoked sausages – 80 g
  • Sour cream – 250 g
  • Hard cheese – 100 g
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Flour – 1 tablespoon. a spoon with a slide
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Ground dried garlic – to taste

To lubricate the mold:

  • Butter – 10 g

Directions

  1. We prepare the ingredients for the dough.
    The butter should be at room temperature – we take it out of the refrigerator in advance.
    Mix flour (85 g – slightly more than half a glass with a capacity of 250 ml) with baking powder and sift.
  2. Cut the butter into cubes and place in a bowl. Add cottage cheese, sugar and salt. Mix thoroughly.
  3. While stirring, gradually add the flour and baking powder.
  4. Knead the dough.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle slightly larger than the size of the baking dish – with a margin on the sides.
  6. Grease a baking dish (mine is 15×20 cm) with butter and use a rolling pin to transfer the dough into it. We form high sides.
  7. Preparing the ingredients for the filling.
  8. Boil water in a saucepan.
    We disassemble the cauliflower and broccoli into inflorescences and lower them in boiling water. We are waiting for the water to boil again.
  9. Put the blanched cabbage in a colander and salt a little. We mix.
  10. Cut the smoked sausages into slices.
    Rub the cheese on a coarse grater.
  11. Mix sour cream with egg with a whisk.
  12. Add flour, salt and pepper to taste. We mix.
  13. Add sausages and cheese. Mix the filling.
  14. We spread the filling in a form lined with dough.
    Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  15. On top of the filling, lay out the inflorescences of cauliflower and broccoli in a checkerboard pattern. Sprinkle dried garlic on top of the pie.
  16. Cooking curd dough pie stuffed with cabbage, sausages and cheese in a preheated oven for about 50 minutes.
  17. Cut the curd pie with cauliflower, broccoli, smoked sausages and cheese into portions and serve.
