  • 150 g butter
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 2 orange (s)
  • 300 grams flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 2 sachets cake icing, chocolate

Instructions

  1. Beat the butter and sugar until frothy. Add the eggs, vanilla sugar and the grated zest of the oranges. Mix the flour and baking powder, gradually stir into the egg mixture. Pour the finished dough into a loaf pan. Bake in the preheated oven (electric stove 175 degrees, gas stove level 2) for about 1 hour. Squeeze the oranges, pierce the still warm cake several times and drizzle with the orange juice. Let cool and cover with the chocolate icing.
