Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 500 g potato (s), floury boilin
  • 450 g flour, handy
  • 450 g flour, smooth
  • 350 g butter
  • 250 g sour cream
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder

For the filling:

  • 750 g poppy seeds (Waldviertel ray seeds)
  • 250 grams sugar
  • 150 g butter, melt
  • 375 ml milk
  • 4 cl rum (domestic rum)
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon plum jam (Powidlmarmelade)

Instructions

  1. Knead all ingredients for the dough well, divide into 30 equal pieces and press flat. Mix all ingredients for the filling well and form 30 dumplings of the same size (it is best to use an ice cream scoop for this).
  2. Fill the prepared dough pieces with poppy seed dumplings, seal, place on a tray and press flat. Bake in the oven at approx. 250 ° C for 10 minutes - turn around and finish baking for another 10 minutes.
