Ingredients

  • 4 pork schnitzel or turkey schnitzel
  • 1 red pepper (s)
  • 3 clove (s) garlic
  • 3 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 100 ml cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 1 can tomato (s)
  • some salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 220 ° C.
  2. Season the schnitzel with salt, pepper and paprika powder and fry briefly on both sides in hot oil. Put the meat in a buttered baking dish.
  3. Clean the pepper and cut into strips. Peel the onion and cut into rings. Peel and mash the garlic. Cut the tomatoes into large cubes.
  4. Melt the butter in a saucepan and sweat the onion rings and paprika strips well. Stir in the crushed garlic, diced tomatoes and tomato paste. Add the spices and season to taste. Top up the vegetables with cream. Let this mixture boil briefly and pour over the schnitzel.
  5. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and let it cook in the oven for about 30 minutes.
  6. You can also serve pasta or rice with these schnitzel.
