Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon, leveled butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 small shallot (s), finely diced
  • 100 ml milk
  • 100 ml water
  • 10 g parmesan, rated
  • 2 teaspoons mustard, coarse-grained
  • 2 teaspoons mustard, medium hot
  • 1 tablespoon sour cream or sour cream
  • 1 pinch (s) sugar
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat the butter in a saucepan. Steam the shallot until translucent. Add the flour and sweat (it shouldn`t turn brown!). Gradually pour in milk and water over medium heat and stir to a smooth sauce.
  2. Add the parmesan, mustard, sugar and sour cream. Finally, season to taste with salt and pepper.
  3. The amount is sufficient for approx. 500 g of vegetables.
