Ingredients

  • 100 g nettles, youn leaves, or the shoots old plants
  • 2 shallot (s)
  • 400 ml cream
  • 500 g pasta
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Pasta with Nettle and Cream Sauce

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted water.
  2. Wash nettles, spin dry in a salad spinner and cut off the stalks. The leaves do not need to be cut too small as they will collapse when cooked. Cut the shallots into small cubes. Fry the shallots in olive oil in a pan, add the cream and nettles. Bring to the boil briefly. Season with salt and pepper and serve with the pasta.
