  • 1 roll (s) puff pastry
  • 300 g peas (frozen)
  • 2 tablespoon water
  • 30 g butter
  • 50 ml cream
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 60 g bacon cubes
  • 100 g cheese, rated
  • pepper
  • nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan and heat the peas in it. Add 2 tablespoons of water and steam the peas for approx. 8 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile preheat the oven to 200 ° C top / bottom heat. Roll out the puff pastry on a baking sheet and prick several times with a fork, then blind-bake for 5 minutes.
  3. Let the peas cool down a little. Whisk 2 egg yolks with cream, season with nutmeg and pepper and stir into the peas. Pour the mixture onto the puff pastry. Scatter the bacon cubes and cheese on top. Bake for about 10 - 12 minutes at 200 ° C.
