Ingredients

  • 150 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 250 g tomato (s)
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 package puff pastry (with 0 plates, frozen)
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 50 g cheese (Gouda), rated
  • oregano
  • basil

Instructions

  1. Peel and finely dice onions and garlic. Skin and dice tomatoes (for those in a hurry: 200 g canned tomatoes will do it too).
  2. Fry the minced meat a little in heated oil. Add onions and garlic and fry with. Add the tomato cubes and season as needed. Continue cooking gently for about 15 minutes until there is almost no liquid left. Let it cool down - otherwise the puff pastry will soften too much later.
  3. Lay the dough sheets down individually and let them thaw for about 10 minutes. Divide the minced meat mixture over 9 plates. Brush the edge of these 9 plates with egg white and fold the four corners towards the middle so that they overlap slightly. Press down well. Cut the last plate into 9 small squares, brush 1 square with a little egg white and stick onto each one of the dough packages. Whisk the egg yolks with milk, brush the packets with it and sprinkle with grated Gouda cheese. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° C for about 20 minutes.
