Ingredients

  • 650 g pork schnitzel
  • 2 medium onion (s)
  • 150 g mushrooms your choice, possibly mushrooms
  • 2 medium pickled cucumber (s)
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 250 g cream
  • 2 teaspoons mustard
  • salt and pepper
  • 650 g potato (s)
  • 1 egg (s)
  • cheese, grated

Instructions

  1. Cut the meat into strips, finely dice the onions. Clean the mushrooms and cut in half. Cut the pickles into fine strips.
  2. Heat the oil and fry the meat in it for about 3 minutes, add onions and mushrooms and fry for about 5 minutes. Dust with 1 tablespoon flour, sweat and deglaze with cream. Stir in the mustard, add the pickles and simmer for 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  3. Peel and roughly grate the potatoes. Cook in boiling salted water for 3 - 4 minutes, drain. Mix the potatoes with the egg and 1 tablespoon flour. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Put the sliced meat in a baking dish. Spread the potatoes on top of the sliced meat. If you like, you can sprinkle a little grated cheese on top.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for approx. 40 minutes at 180 ° C.
