Ingredients

  • 30 g butter
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 3 tablespoon semolina
  • 3 tablespoon flour
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch, (Maizena)
  • 250 g quark, (low-fat curd cheese)
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • possibly sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients with the mixer and let rest covered for a few hours (possibly overnight in the refrigerator).
  2. Shape dumplings with spoons and simmer in salted water for about 5-10 minutes.
  3. You can of course add sugar as you like, but when the dumplings are served with applesauce, stewed plums, etc., they are sweet enough!
  4. As a dessert it is enough for 4 people.
