Ingredients

  • 750 g potato (s), waxy
  • 500 g asparaus, reen
  • salt
  • sugar
  • 100 g parmesan cheese
  • 250 g whipped cream
  • pepper
  • nutmeg
  • possibly herbs, fresh, as desired

Instructions

  1. Wash potatoes thoroughly and cook for 20 minutes.
  2. Wash the asparagus and cut away the woody ends. Cook the asparagus in boiling salted water with a little sugar for about 8 minutes. Then drain.
  3. Rinse, peel and slice potatoes. Halve the asparagus lengthways.
  4. Finely grate the parmesan and mix with the cream. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
  5. Grease a flat baking dish and layer the potatoes and asparagus. Pour the cream mixture over it and grill in the preheated oven at 175 ° C for about 45 minutes.
  6. Let cool down a bit and garnish with fresh herbs if necessary.
