Potato Muffins with Cheese

Unusual potato muffins with cheese will not leave your household indifferent. Perfect flavor combination: cheese and potatoes. Try it, it really tastes good!

Ingredients

  • Potatoes (large) – 3 pcs.
  • Hard cheese – 120 g
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Sour cream – 80 g
  • Nutmeg – to taste
  • Dried thyme – to taste
  • Ground black pepper (optional) – to taste
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Peel the potatoes and cook in salted water. Cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes after boiling. Meanwhile, in a bowl, combine eggs and sour cream. Add ground pepper.
  2. Beat eggs with sour cream with a whisk until smooth.
  3. Grate the cheese finely.
  4. Add cheese to the sour cream and egg mixture. Add dried thyme and nutmeg.
  5. When the potatoes are boiled, mashed potatoes using a pusher. For airiness, add 4-5 tablespoons of milk to the potatoes.
  6. Add the finished puree to the cheese mass.
  7. Stir vigorously. The consistency of the potato dough resembles thick sour cream in structure.
  8. Arrange the dough in silicone muffin molds (you do not need to grease the molds).
  9. Bake potato muffins in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20 minutes. Put the finished potato muffins on a wooden surface to cool.
