Ingredients

  • 700 g pumpkin (se), fresh
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 2 chilli pepper (s), red
  • 2 vanilla pod (s)
  • 1.4 liters vodka
  • 600 g suar
  • 1 liter water

Instructions

  1. Peel and core the pumpkin and remove any fibrous parts. Cut the pumpkin flesh into large pieces and place in a wide-necked container. Add the cinnamon stick, chilli and vanilla pods and pour over the vodka. Put in a dark, cool place for about 4 weeks. After 4-5 weeks, boil the sugar solution and let it cool. Strain the mixture, mix it with the cold sugar solution and fill it in bottles, close it well and let it steep for 4-5 weeks in a dark place.
