Ingredients

  • 5 pieces lemon or oranges, unsprayed
  • 2 lemon (s) or oranges, juice them
  • 0.5 liter ½ alcohol 96% (pharmacy)
  • 1 liter vodka
  • 700 g suar
  • 1 liter water
  • 1 lemon (s) or orange, juice it

Instructions

  1. Remove only the outermost peel from the fruit (without the whites, works best with a cucumber peeler), squeeze 2 fruits and cover the juice with the peel, alcohol and vodka for approx. 3 weeks in a cool and dark place.
  2. Then remove the peel from the alcohol (set the alcohol aside) and bring to the boil with the water, the juice of a lemon or orange and the sugar until the sugar has dissolved. Cover this sugar-water-juice-peel mixture and let it steep again in a cool place for 2 weeks.
  3. Then remove the pods, filter, mix with the alcohol and fill into bottles. Store in a cool place!
  4. Tip: serve cold limoncello or orangello on ice cubes before or after eating.
