Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 250 g flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ baking powder
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 120 g butter
  • 70 grams sugar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt

For covering:

  • 1 kg low-fat quark
  • 90 g flour
  • 250 grams sugar
  • 5 egg (s), depending on size 4 - 6 eggs
  • liter ⅛ milk
  • 130 g butter, melted, between 120 and 180 can be varied

Instructions

  1. For approx. 16 pieces.
  2. Knead the ingredients for the dough into a shortcrust pastry.
  3. Separate eggs for the topping. Mix the quark, flour, sugar, egg yolk, milk and butter well. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in.
  4. Spread the shortcrust pastry evenly in a greased springform pan, pull up the edge and pour the quark mixture on top.
  5. Bake in the oven at 160 ° C, top / bottom heat approx. 180 ° C for about an hour, until the cake is done.
