  • Fresh cucumbers – 1 kg
  • Cumin – 2 teaspoon
  • Chili (dried flakes) – 2 teaspoon (or to taste)
  • Ground cinnamon – 1 teaspoon
    (or chopped cinnamon – to taste)
  • Apple cider vinegar – 250 ml
  • Rice vinegar – 250 ml
  • Salt – 2 tbsp
  • Sugar – 2 tbsp
  • Water – 120 ml

  1. Cut the cucumbers into thin slices.

  2. Pour vinegar (apple and rice) into a saucepan.

  3. Add salt and sugar.
  4. Add water.
  5. Add all the spices.
  6. Put the saucepan on the fire and, while stirring, bring the marinade to a boil.
  7. Transfer the cucumbers to a tight plastic bag (resealable).

  8. Pour hot marinade over the cucumbers in the bag. Close the bag hermetically and leave the cucumbers to marinate for 1-2 hours.
