Ingredients

  • 250 g lentils, red
  • 50 g tomato paste
  • 750 ml water
  • vegetable broth, instant
  • 150 g onion (s)
  • 200 g carrot (s)
  • 2 large cloves garlic
  • 80 g cheese, rated, variety your choice
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Put the red lentils in a saucepan. Cut the onion into larger cubes, the garlic into slices and the carrots into thin slices.
  2. Pour the vegetables over the lentils and add water. Bring to the boil and then simmer for 15 minutes. Puree while adding tomato paste, stock powder and cheese. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
