Ingredients

  • 300 g turkey or veal, chopped
  • 150 ml cream
  • 2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 onion (s), finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon paprika powder, noble sweet
  • 6 cherry tomato (s)
  • salt and pepper
  • possibly peas
  • possibly mushrooms
  • 400 g riatoni
  • possibly flour
  • possibly cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta as usual. Salt and pepper the sliced turkey and fry in a pan. Fry the finely chopped onion and the halved cocktail tomatoes, then add the tomato paste and paprika powder and deglaze with cream, possibly add more water and flour.
  2. Let simmer for about 5 minutes. Pour the sauce over the boiled rigatoni. You can also refine the sauce with mushrooms or peas.
  3. I also often use the sauce for a pasta casserole - same preparation, precook the pasta, put both in a casserole dish and baked with cheese (mozzarella and parmesan).
