Ingredients

  • 1 kg roast pork
  • 1 large onion (s)
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 4 juniper berries
  • 1 teaspoon marjoram
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon clarified butter
  • 750 ml water, hot
  • 1 tablespoon flour

Instructions

  1. Preparation:
  2. Wash the meat and dry it with the kitchen towel. Place a large saucepan with clarified butter on the stove and let it get hot, then fry the meat.
  3. Peel the onion, cut into slices, turn the meat over, spread the onion on the sides, let it fry.
  4. When the roast and onions are brown, deglaze with hot water and add all the spices.
  5. After an hour turn the roast over again and I let it cook for another half an hour.
  6. Take out the meat and keep it warm, if necessary season the sauce and thicken it with flour.
  7. Cut the meat and serve.
  8. Potato and bean salad go well with it.
