Roll “Bounty” (without Baking)

Roll “Bounty” is a very easy-to-prepare roll without baking, which tastes like the bar of the same name. I recommend giving it a try.

Ingredients

For the “test”:
Store cookies, not dry (sugar, anniversary, etc.) – 300 g
Cocoa powder – 3 tbsp
Sugar – 0.5 cups (to taste)
Water (boiling water) – 0.5 cups
For the cream:
Butter, room temperature – 150 g
Powdered sugar – 100 g (to taste)
Coconut flakes – 40 g

Directions

Grind the cookies into small crumbs with a blender or meat grinder. Add cocoa powder to the cookies. Mix. Dissolve half a glass of sugar in half a glass of boiling water. Cool down. Pour the resulting syrup into the dry mixture. Knead a smooth dough. Prepare the cream. To do this, combine butter softened to room temperature with powdered sugar and coconut. Mix well until smooth. Roll out the cookie dough on cling film to the desired thickness. The thinner the rolled cake is, the more turns you will get on the cut of the roll. I rolled out a layer about 3 mm thick.
Cover the layer with butter cream, evenly distributing it over the entire surface. Then gently roll the cake with cream into a roll. Wrap the roll in plastic wrap and put in the freezer for 30-40 minutes.
Cut the finished roll into slices.
