Ingredients

  • 1 ½ kg pork (fresh pork belly without rind)
  • 8 slices bacon, lean
  • salt and pepper
  • Mustard, ketchup for brushing
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 1 onion (s) (vegetable onion)
  • 50 g hot peppers
  • rosemary
  • Paprika powder, hot
  • thyme

Instructions

  1. Cut open the belly so that it can be rolled up. Rub the meat with the spices and herbs, brush with mustard and ketchup. Place the bacon on top with peppers, onions and the crushed Knofi toes. Roll up the meat, wrap it in a meat net and skewer. Cook on the charcoal grill for about 1.5 hours to 2 hours.
