Ingredients

  • 1 ½ kg potato (s), mostly floury
  • 2 egg (s)
  • salt and pepper
  • parsley
  • 8 tablespoon flour
  • nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Peel the potatoes, cut into large pieces and cook in salted water for about 20 minutes. Turn it over (potato press) and let it cool down.
  2. Add the eggs, salt, pepper and nutmeg and mix in the flour, tablespoon at a time, until the dough no longer sticks to floured hands. Mix in the parsley if you like.
  3. Form small dumplings with very well floured hands and cook in boiling salted water until they float on the surface.
  4. Sauerbraten, goulash or rabbit go well with it.
