Salmon Steak

Salmon has a very delicate, mild flavor and is delicious on its own. Therefore, grilled salmon steak is a great dinner and a quick one too.

Ingredients

  • Salmon steak – 400 g
  • Olive oil – 20 ml
  • Lemon – 0.5 pcs.
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Fresh thyme (optional) – 2 sprigs

Directions

  1. Wash and dry the salmon steak. Drizzle with olive oil. Heat the grill pan, sprinkle with salt.
  2. Place the steak on the grill pan. Season with salt and pepper. Grill the salmon steak for 5 minutes on each side. (To get a delicious “mesh” on the steak, you can put the fish diagonally in the grill pan, and after 2.5 minutes, turn the steak about 90 degrees.)
  3. Turn the salmon steak to the other side, sprinkle with pepper, squeeze the lemon juice on the fried side. (To form a “mesh”, do the same – turn the steak 90 degrees in 2.5 minutes.)
  4. Place the cooked salmon steak from the skillet on an auxiliary plate (to remove excess oil). Transfer the steak to a plate, garnish with thyme sprigs and lemon. The salmon steak can be served.
