Ingredients

  • 1 kg flour
  • 100 g sesame seeds
  • 40 g yeast
  • 5 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt
  • Sesame seeds for sprinkling
  • Water, lukewarm, as required

Instructions

  1. Put flour in bowl and make a well in it. Crumble in the yeast and dissolve it with a little lukewarm water. Sprinkle salt on the edge of the flour. Add enough lukewarm water to make a dough that is easy to knead.
  2. Knead vigorously for 5 minutes and let rest briefly. Then work the sesame seeds into the dough with 3 tablespoons of oil.
  3. Brush the remaining oil on the baking sheet.
  4. Roll out the dough on top and cover and let rise for about 20 minutes.
  5. Brush with water, sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake in a preheated oven at 250 ° C for about 30 minutes.
